Indian Diplomacy : Explication of skirmishes

The principles of India’s foreign policy and its objectives are closely interlinked with each other. India desired peaceful and friendly relations with all countries, particularly the big powers and the neighbouring nations. While signing a peace agreement with China; India advocated adherence to five guiding principles known as Panchsheel. The success of India’s policy lies in the fact that it has well adjusted with the changing times and circumstances and its core principles have stood the test of time.
